E-Rewards Review – Is it Legitimate or a Scam? Can You Get Paid for Surveys with E-Rewards?

Hey all, hope your week has been good. Here’s a new review article on a paid survey website called E-Rewards. I’ve been a member of this website for a a little while now, and felt a review on this is surely needed on this blog. So here the run down on what E-Rewards is all about!

E-Rewards is a very well known market research panel that’s been around for a very long time. Like most paid online surveys websites they gather our opinions, and say through their questionnaires. The surveys revolve around various of topics such as health, automobiles, entertainment, and consumer products to name a few.

After you become a member of E-Rewards, you’re taken to the main page of the website where you have to complete several  brief profile surveys. Just like most paid surveys these surveys are meant to help E-Rewards send you surveys that matches your interests. Once you complete them, you’re soon on your way to participating into their real paying surveys.

You’re sent survey invites one to twice per week and they often don’t take long to complete. In fact most of them take about 5 to 10 minutes. Sometimes you’re given surveys that are 20 minutes or more depending on the topic of the study.  In turn for completing  the surveys you’re rewarded with cash.  It can range from $2 to $10, sometimes even more than that!  Minimum payout is $10. When you earn a certain amount of money, in your E-Rewards account, you can redeem them for different rewards. Now this is where this website differs from the many paid surveys I’ve mentioned in my blog so far.

When you accumulated enough cash into your E-Rewards account you’re not paid money exactly. Instead, you redeem the cash that you’ve earn from surveys for prizes such as Gamestop gift cards, Free Blockbuster DVD rentals,  magazine subscriptions, discounts off several retailers such as JCPenny’s, Zales to name a couple, and mile points for many travel and lodging companies.

Is E-Rewards legitimate or a scam?

From what I’ve gotten from researching about this website and having some experience with it as well, I can tell you that it is very legit! I’m going to give you my take on this website and of course the pros and cons. I like this website because it’s completely FREE to join. The surveys they send are really fun to do. They never take me long to complete.  I’m actually a few surveys away from redeeming for a reward! Now another thing that distinguishes E-Rewards from other paid survey sites is the sign up process for this site…which might be a downfall for some of you.

E-Rewards is a invitation only survey site, meaning you have to be invited by them in order to register. How you can join this site,  you  have to sign up for one of their sponsor companies which includes, but not limited to: Pizza Hut, GameStop, Macy’s, and US Airways. When you’ve signed up and become a member to one or more of those sponsor sites you must keep a look out in your inbox for E-Reward sign up invitations. It may take a few days or a few weeks for them to send you the invitation.

The rewards from this paid survey site can be a pro and a con, depending on what you’re looking for. The choices are pretty limited, and mostly revolves around magazines, and traveling reward points. (This is perfect for you magazine lovers, and those who travels a lot!)  Other than those there are very few rewards to choose from. To be honest I wish there were more reward options to choose from, but me being a gamer girl, I’m perfectly content in being paid with Gamestop gift card.

If you’re into the rewards I have mentioned in this article then I believe E-Rewards is a website much worth joining and trying out!

We highly recommend to join below survey panels:

  1. After reading many of the recent reviews, I see I’m not the only one this happened to. I’ve been a member over 10 years, a Diamond member, and I was just accused of being dishonest and having more than one account—neither of which is true. They stopped sending me surveys about two months ago when I tried to cash out, but having difficulty because the only number I have is my cell number which happens to be a VOIP number. Other survey sites bypassed that requirement for me, but not them. So emails were going back and forth all this time and getting nowhere to help me cash out. Obviously they had no intention of allowing me to do so. Then I noticed I wasn’t getting invited to any surveys from their sister site Valued Opinions and emailed them. John answered and said he’d look into it. The next day he emails me about e-Rewards and suspends me for no good reason. Now I suspect the same thing will happen with the sister site since I was close to cashing out. Stay away from both these sites. They used to be good and paid you. No more!!!!

E-rewards was taken over by Dynata (Research Now Group LLC), 5800 Tennyson Pkwy, Suite 600, Plano, Tx 75024-3992. I just filed a complaint with BBB.org and suggest all of you reading this do the same. The more complaints, the better. And we might get our money back!
